Star Wars Battlefront II

For the launch of Star Wars Battlefront II, developer EA DICE and Logitech G collaborated on the creation of an extremely limited edition run of high-performance gaming gear featuring bold Star Wars-themed designs. Dialect were challenged with producing a film that illustrated the close collaboration between the teams and how they dealt with the weight of responsibility in producing work worthy of the beloved franchise.

Dialect set out to create a piece that would accomplish the following:

  • Interview the creative forces behind Star Wars Battlefront II
  • Highlight the successful collaboration between EA DICE and Logitech G
  • Showcase the limited edition gear’s visually striking Star Wars-themed designs
  • Emphasize how the gear actually delivers unrivalled accuracy within the game

The result was a multi-layered video that showed how the passion, expertise and commitment to “getting it right” shared by both EA DICE and Logitech G led to a partnership truly worthy of the Star Wars brand. We filmed on-location at EA DICE’s Stockholm-based development studio, spoke with the key team and gained great insights into the process and how they managed to leverage the very best of both brands through the partnership. The video accomplished its intended goals, working alongside other digital assets – including an exclusive contest run through a microsite – and generated interest in both the release of Star Wars Battlefront II and Logitech G’s Star Wars Battlefront II limited edition gaming gear.
