Junior Digital Media Planner/Buyer

We are looking for a Junior Planner / Buyer to join our expanding media team. Reporting to our Senior Planner we’re looking for someone who can support and help develop our media offering and in particular we are looking for someone with experience of paid search and social.

Dialect are a content marketing agency who specialise in the video games and high tech space.  We work with global clients such as Logitech G, NVIDIA, AMAZON, Google and others to produce and syndicate content that drives brand awareness and sales.  We have offices in San Francisco, London and Bath. This is a full time position based in our Bath office.

We are looking for a Junior Planner / Buyer to join our expanding media team.  Reporting to our Senior Planner we’re looking for someone who can support and help develop our media offering and in particular we are looking for someone with experience of paid search and social.

You will be working with the team on the following daily and weekly tasks:

  • Participation in the development and management of effective content & media plans for our clients.
  • Convert these strategies to comprehensive media plans, and manage throughout planning process.
  • Daily maintenance of the media plans you’re responsible for, including tracking all changes, budgeting, execution, reporting, optimization and invoice reconciliation.
  • Use media buying tools to book media plans with direct suppliers. In particular you’ll be using Google Marketing Platform, Bionic and Amazon Media.
  • Use audience research platforms to inform media strategies
  • Review competitor activity for both internal and client use
  • Develop and execute paid search campaign recommendations and optimizations.
  • Develop and execute paid social campaign recommendations and optimizations.
  • Staying apprised of industry standards, new media programs/opportunities and able to advise on new ways to reach targets.
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with media partners to deliver first to market opportunities for our clients and drive value throughout the planning process.
  • Work with Ad Ops to help provide campaign effectiveness reports to clients, and recommending optimizations when appropriate to improve media performance.
  • Confidently present campaign updates & post campaign analysis to clients.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • 12 months digital marketing agency experience. Gaming / tech experience will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability.
  • Knowledge and experience of paid search and social.
  • Knowledge and experience of GMP or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge and experience of Google Analytics.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Passion for gaming will be an advantage but not a deal breaker.
