Dialect | Editor-in-Chief
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

Dialect is a unique digital agency based in San Francisco, Bristol and London that combines the creativity of content creation with the science of media buying and planning. We are are looking for a full-time, senior creative person, based in Bristol, who will play a key creative role serving a number of Dialect’s clients including Amazon, NVIDIA and Logitech.
The Editor-in-Chief will be responsible for both content creation and the management of content creation throughout a significant segment of the Dialect business.
We’re looking for a serious all-rounder. We want to find someone with experience of managing content/editorial teams. Someone comfortable with taking the creative lead on new projects and evolving pre-existing client accounts; bringing a fresh perspective, loads of ideas and an enthusiastic approach to teamwork. A natural gift for ideation is key, as is a keen eye for quality control. Fine quality editorial writing ability and subbing skills are a given for this role.
As well as an aptitude for the written word, the successful candidate will exhibit a strong understanding of the digital landscape. They will be proficient with blogging platforms and all key social media platforms – an understanding of how to create successful digital content which produces both social engagement and links is required. We are looking for a candidate who has a refined aesthetic sense and deeply understands the interdependency between great words, great images and great video content.
The role will require a significant amount of client liaison and pitch-work, so we are seeking a confident, professional, eloquent candidate who is as comfortable leading Skype meetings as they are presenting to a room of 100 people. This is not a role for an introvert.
